Automotive Dealer Consulting, LLC is pleased to announce the Opening of its International Training Academy
in Caguas, Puerto Rico on the campus of Mechanical Institute of Technology. Training courses are designed for all dealership positions with entry level and advanced curriculums available in English or
Spanish. Most courses will carry full credits toward Associate and Bachelor degrees. Why send dealership employees to training?
Most people enter the automotive business in the same way. No training, poor support material, no system to operate
within, inconsistent pricing methods, no tools , untrained staff, etc. What people usually receive is a pen, 2-3 hours of observing the employee with the best performance (who is to busy to help ) and a
manager that says " get out there and handle those customers" "oh yeah" don't forget to sell something"
! Then once a year the factory representative advises that you have to send someone to a 1 day class and thats
called "ongoing training".. Few people survive this environment causing extreme turnover in all key customer contact positions. If they do survive, we call them EXPERIENCED!
Unfortunately, the above is a true picture of our industry. With this in mind, ADC developed the "ADC International Training Academy", dedicated to providing dealers and manufactures a service to train employees for
positions before putting them on the front line and continue training throughout their careers. We also realize the need for continuous training due to stagnation in a position, management changes, changing
market conditions, product changes, manufacture direction and employee turnover and the need to continue learning and improving ones self.
